A commercially pure aluminum with added manganese to increase its strength (20% stronger than the 1100 grade). Its superior corrosion resistance and workability make it a top choice.
This has a high strength alloy of the more non heat-treatable grades of aluminum. Its fatigue strength is higher than most other aluminum grades. Alloy 5052 has a good resistance to marine atmosphere, salt water corrosion, and excellent workability. It can be easily drawn or formed into intricate shapes.
Aluminum plate is a precipitation-hardened aluminum alloy containing magnesium and silicon as its major alloying elements. 6061 aluminum sheet is one of the most versatile of the heat-treatable alloys. 6061 is popular for its medium to high strength requirements, great for aircraft and marine.
This grade is commonly referred to as the architectural alloy. Developed as an extrusion alloy with relatively high tensile properties, excellent finish characteristics and high corrosion resistance. It is one of the best suited alloy for anodizing applications including hard coat anodizing for air cylinder tube. Great for Aerospace and others.
This is one of the highest strength aluminum alloys available. Its strength-to-weight ratio is excellent. It is ideally suited for highly stressed aircraft parts.

The 5052 aluminum alloy has high resistance when placed in conditions that are slightly alkaline. It has better marine resistance than 5005 alloys, which is why it’s frequently used for marine applications. The corrosion resistance of 5052 alloys comes from the protective surface oxide film it has. This has a rapid reaction that occurs when damage is sustained. There are different fabrication options available for this product, which include machining, welding, heat treating and cold working. Cold working is the only way to harden this metal, so heat treatment will not achieve this. 5052 is widely used for cooking utensils, food processing equipment, storage tanks, truck and trailer components, mail boxes, aircraft components, electronic chassis, boat hulls, deck houses, hatch covers, pressure vessels, ladders, railings, frames, drip pans, tool boxes, truck bumpers, inner and outer body panels and components in truck and auto industries, kitchen equipment, decorative trim, architectural uses, signage applications, and any number of parts and application requiring strength and good formability at reasonable cost. When machining this alloy, it can be done using conventional methods at high speeds. Ample lubrication should be used to prevent thermal distortion. Sharp tools are also needed for this process. The cuts should be made continuous and deep, while at high cutting speeds.
